The Generali Maratón de Málaga is the city's flagship annual marathon, running every November through the historic centre and along the iconic seafront Paseo del Parque and Muelle Uno. The flat, fast 42km course passes Málaga's most celebrated landmarks — the Alcazaba, the Cathedral, and the port — attracting elite runners, international participants, and recreational athletes from across Spain and Europe. One of the most popular autumn city marathons on the Iberian Peninsula.
